Birth and death are sacred transitions, deeply rooted in ancestral knowledge and cultural traditions. This panel brings together Indigenous doulas and caregivers to share how they are reclaiming traditional practices in birth, death, and everything in between. Through storytelling and lived experience, we will explore the importance of ceremony, language, and community-centered care in supporting individuals and families. We’ll also discuss the impact of colonial systems on these sacred life events and how doulas are working to restore autonomy, connection, and healing through culturally grounded care.
