  • Courtney -Doula, Educator & Community Builder

Courtney has dedicated herself to loving and supporting families through life’s many transitions. Beginning her journey as a doula at just sixteen, she quickly discovered a passion for advocacy, peer connections, and meeting families where they are.

Her deep commitment to community care led to the creation of Heart to Earth + Wellness and The Solidarity Space—two spaces built on the belief that it takes a village not only to hold a family but also the care providers supporting them. After a decade of solo work, Courtney expanded her practice to mentor doulas and nannies, ensuring that more families receive the care they deserve while also creating sustainable opportunities for birth workers.

Through The Solidarity Space, Courtney fosters collaboration over competition, offering a brick-and-mortar studio and clinic where families can connect with professionals through fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to create longer tables, not higher walls, and to ensure that no one navigates these transitions alone.

Loving folks through life’s changes is what Courtney does best, and she is endlessly grateful for every family that welcomes her into their journey.

  • Emily B

Emily’s journey into caregiving began in her teens, evolving through roles as a nanny, coach, first aid instructor, daycare provider, and outdoor educator. These experiences deepened her understanding of family dynamics and child development, but nothing truly prepared her for the challenges of motherhood. As a two-time Hyperemesis Gravidarum survivor, she experienced firsthand the need for strong, informed support during the perinatal period.

As a Full Spectrum Doula, Emily provides holistic, trauma-informed care through fertility, pregnancy, loss, abortion, adoption/surrogacy, birth, and postpartum. With extensive training and lived experience—including raising two children and breastfeeding for three years—she is committed to individualized, judgment-free care.

Emily’s philosophy is simple: every perinatal journey is unique, and every family deserves support that honours their individual needs. By fostering trust, confidence, and informed decision-making, she creates a space where families feel heard, encouraged, and empowered every step of the way.
